Rangers and Rovers

As an attempt at furthering the spirit of community service and holistic improvement of the society, the purpose, principles and method of the movement were conceived by the founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907. It is a voluntary, non-political and educational movement of students that seeks to engage students in social initiatives irrespective of their race, creed and origin. The purpose of this movement is purely to assist the students in achieving their full potential physically, mentally, intellectually and spiritually in order to render them into responsible and global citizens who are mindful of the requirement of upliftment of society as a whole in order for the nation to progress. The principles of the movement are trifold:

1. Duty to self
2. Duty to others
3. Duty to God

Keeping these lofty ideals as guidelines, the Rangers and Rovers of DBS College work dedicatedly towards facilitating the benefits of this movements for the students.
