An educational trip was organized by the Chemistry Department of DBS College Kanpur to V.S.S.D. College Kanpur under the supervision of the Head of Department, Prof. C.M. Saxena. The focus of the visit was on the detection of adulterated food, a topic of great relevance in today’s context of food safety and public health.
During the visit, more than fifty (50) students actively participated in various demonstrations and practical sessions related to identifying common adulterants in food items using simple chemical tests. The program was both informative and engaging, enhancing students’ understanding of real-world applications of their academic knowledge.
Faculty members from DBS College also accompanied the students and provided guidance throughout the session. The interactive environment at V.S.S.D. College, Kanpur offered an enriching learning experience for all participants.
