The Chemistry Department of DBS College, Kanpur, under the Chemical Society, organized an academic lecture on 9 February 2026. The event was graced by the Principal, Prof. Anil Kumar Mishra, who addressed and motivated the students. The Head of the Chemistry Department, Prof. C. M. Saxena, delivered the welcome address. Prof. Shailendra Shukla provided valuable career counseling to students, while Prof. Vivek Pandey presented the vote of thanks.
The program was efficiently anchored by Dr. Alka Dixit. The keynote lecture on Complex Compounds was delivered by Dr. Naveen Awasthi, Assistant professor Janta College, Bakewar, Etawah who explained key concepts in an engaging and informative manner. Faculty members including Dr. Rajesh Shukla, Prof. Pankaj Shukla, Dr. N. P. Singh, Dr. Sanjay Singh, Prof. Sapna Shukla, Prof. Suman Katiyar, Prof. Archna Saxena, and other department members were present, making the event academically enriching and successful.
