On 7th August 2024, the Zoology Department of DBS College, Kanpur, conducted an Orientation Programme for the 1st semester B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. The event was held in the B.Sc Lab of the Zoology Department from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The purpose of the programme was to welcome the new students and provide them with essential information regarding the department, faculty, course structure, and available facilities.
A total of 46 students from the 1st semester of B.Sc. and M.Sc. programmes attended the orientation with full participation. The presence and active involvement of all the faculty members of the Zoology Department significantly contributed to the success of the event.
The Orientation Programme was a comprehensive and informative session that effectively introduced the new students to the Zoology Department. It equipped them with the necessary knowledge and resources to embark on their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm. The department looks forward to supporting these students in their pursuit of academic excellence.
