The Department of Education was originally established in the faculty of Art in the year 1959. Since then the department has not looked back and can boost of some outstanding achievements. Department of Education is a firm believer of learning things by doing so and focuses on ‘Project based’ teaching and learning Alumni of this Department is serving various university departments, Government teacher training colleges, Diets, and Teachers training colleges run by various trusts. Students of this department are also serving as teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, primary, and upper primary of various state governments. Alumni of this department are also serving provincial and union civil services and areas of politics(leaders).
