For the Academic Year 2025–2026, D. B. S. College is committed to implementing a comprehensive Institutional Development Plan aimed at strengthening academic excellence, enhancing student engagement, promoting research culture, and ensuring holistic institutional growth in alignment with NEP 2020 and UGC guidelines.
1. Academic Planning & Governance
- Preparation and strict implementation of the Academic Calendar to ensure timely conduct of teaching, examinations, internal assessments, and co-curricular activities.
- Structured timetable planning as per UGC workload norms.
- Strengthening Mentor–Mentee System for continuous academic and personal guidance.
- Departmental Academic Review Meetings at regular intervals.
- Internal Academic Audit and documentation under IQAC supervision.
2. Implementation of NEP 2020 Framework
- Effective implementation of multidisciplinary curriculum structure (Major–Minor system).
- Monitoring of Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) compliance.
- Encouraging students to enroll in SWAYAM and other MOOCs platforms.
- Introduction of Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), Value Added Courses (VAC), and Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC).

- Uploading and updating faculty data on Samarth Portal.

- Promotion of faculty advancement under Career Advancement Scheme (CAS).
